Carrabelle to
Due to bad weather, we stayed at the marina in Carrabelle for 6 days. Yesterday at 14:00 we went to Alligator Harbor. Distance 20.9 miles, shorter question of our journey the next day. Not too windy, not too many waves at least up to our anchorage. Luke has programmed the GPS so that it alerts us to the event that the anchor breaks loose, considering the wind speed and wave height. We went to bed at 21:45 and fell asleep immediately. At 22:30, I heard the alarm and woke up Luke. We have audited the and everything went back to bed a little worried. The rest of the night went well. By cons, TADPOLE was enough for his money .... They spent the night standing to bring an anchor, to check their position, etc..
This morning we left at 07:00. We have traveled a distance of 65 miles in 8 hours. The first four hours have been eventful enough thank you. We walked from left to right. Waves were 3-4 feet out. Despite being consulted several weather sites, it often happens that the reality is quite different. We were very happy to moor at a dock in the Marina Steinhatchee.
cell side: we had no signal for 1 week. Last night at our anchorage, we took advantage of a signal surely misplaced. This morning between 7 and 8 o'clock, the signal was still there, but none since. So if there are some who try to join us, do not be discouraged. By 2-3 days, we will be "business" because we are near cities. By cons, we used Skype to talk with our children tonight. It was very enjoyable.
Tomorrow morning we plan to leave around 6:30 because we have a distance of 80 miles before going to the single anchor can be the Florida Barge Channel. All I want is that the weather will be kind to all points of view.
