Pain On Left Side Of Stomach And Peeing Alot

Border crossing and first impressions of Cambodia

We stand starting at 5:00 am and veins to the station Hualamphong to catch the only train of the morning towards the border ...
We sat on the bus is a bit tight timing issue but normally it should do ... Except ... We did not anticipate that the market which we must walk, usually so calm is buzzing at this early hour! Suddenly, the traffic is pretty slow ...
We no longer believe, but we try, we do not look very smart to run well in the station with our large bags. Luckily we managed to pronounce the name of our destination: Aranya Prahet and an employee tells us immediately the platform, we continue our journey, we see the train begins to move forward, a final sprint ... The controller
beckons us to climb, we jump on the step and finally enter the car!

few hours later, we find near the border. As is the fastest way to get to the temples of Angkor, there are many world of organized tours and touts of all kinds, attempted swindling are systematic, it's not very pleasant. Whatever, we eventually arrive in Poipet, Cambodia.
casinos, massage parlors and thousands of posters calling any large pigs to respect children.
We do not want to make old bones in the corner and quickly find a taxi to take us to Battabang (pronounced "Battabong).

We are squeezing with our big bags, but the road is nice. The smell of sugar cane Bruno back to childhood memories. We arrive quickly at destination (great!) And before nightfall find a cheap room at the Royal Hotel just that!

Prime sunset
Our infancy "Soussaidi" and "aokun" are patiently corrected
First exchange of smiles
First ride in the old colonial district where the music resonate aerobics outdoors from the banks. First sip
Angkor "my country, my beer" bun bo
First, a treat!

We feel very quickly that we love this country, this culture even if we immediately realize the extreme poverty of many residents and feel some discomfort in seeing so few white hairs on the streets.
aware that we will not avoid plunging into a History of the most sinister, however we will not put aside the beauty of Cambodia and to live and share as much as it can the joys of this.

"Cow ouirrriiii oh yes!"
