The other day I looked in the store My Neighbor French Fauchon products for sale. And there was a box of mini muffins at different scents. Which at ca-ra-mel!
What, caramel ... I can not resist!
So I try to find a recipe for madeleines caramel. I found several but I chose the simplest. And the other day while my MAP was my work I did on my side, madeleines. It reminded me of when I was doing with my grandmother when I was younger. The advantage of madeleines is that it virtually grain department.
Well for a simple recipe if I must say that the result is not bad at all. It is made with caramel syrup, no need to prepare their own. At the same time the taste is probably not the same. I would try another recipe with real caramel to see the difference.
Meanwhile, I had to put 30 minutes to make a batch of 24 cakes. Quick and cheap, perfect for children or 4 hours to accompany an ice cream for dessert along.
Recipe:
-
2 eggs - 200 ml
flour - 1 / 2 packet of yeast
- 100 ml sugar
- 100 g butter, melted
- 50 ml of liquid caramel syrup
- 1 pinch of salt
Mix eggs and sugar to get a smooth paste. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly mixed. Spoon into buttered pan. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees C or 475 degrees F. Lowering the bake oven to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F. Cook 8 minutes. It's ready ... and good!
And all this under the watchful eye of my apprentice cooker. Its purpose ... become the new Ratatouille!
